KredReport - Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how KredReport handles the information of its registered users (DSAs, bankers, and loan professionals) and of the customers whose credit reports those users fetch through the platform. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.

2. Independent Entity

KredReport is not a Credit Information Company (CIC) and is independent of all registered credit bureaus. It acts only as a professional lookup platform that delivers reports exactly as provided by the bureau, without any alterations or modifications.

3. Consent

A credit report may only be fetched after the user has obtained the customer's explicit consent, and the report must be fetched in the presence of the customer. Reports are used strictly for loan assessment purposes.

4. Information Handled

To register on the platform, users provide their business and contact details. To fetch a report, users enter the minimum customer details required by the bureau, such as name, mobile number and PAN. The details entered must be accurate and match those used in the customer's bank loan applications.

5. No Sale or Sharing of Data

KredReport ensures that no customer or user data is ever sold or shared with any third party. All reports are generated only with customer consent and used strictly for loan evaluation purposes.

6. Ownership of Customer Records

Each customer fetched by a user remains associated with that user only. KredReport will never contact or send promotional content to customers fetched by users.

7. User Obligations

• Obtain explicit customer consent before fetching any credit report.
• Do not misuse or share the report with unauthorized persons.
• Adhere to applicable data privacy laws while handling customer information.

8. Prohibited Uses

Users are strictly prohibited from:

• Fetching a customer's report without consent
• Using reports for marketing, lead generation, or promotions
• Offering credit repair or sending promotional messages
• Sharing or reselling customer data

9. Misuse and Enforcement

Any misuse or unauthorized access will result in immediate account deactivation and may lead to legal action and penalties. In case of fraudulent activity, KredReport reserves the right to suspend or permanently deactivate the account, issue a legal notice, or impose a fine or penalty depending on the severity of the case.

10. Corrections to Credit Reports

If a customer notices inaccuracies in a report (such as a wrong name or loan account), the dispute must be raised directly with the respective credit bureau. The bureau will verify and update the report within approximately 30 days. KredReport does not alter bureau data.
